Don was also very proud that he was a professional poker player. Don was the owner of Eithun Auto Sales, Red Cab & Blue Cab Co. and Evansville Auto Auction. In retirement, he built rental units for small businesses, and owned an outside storage yard for boats, RV’s, and cars. During his life, Don was known to be a helping hand financially and emotionally to people that needed support.

Don is survived by the LOVE of his life, Elaine “Lani” (Perleberg Kennedy) Eithun; his children, Susie (Charles) Eithun, Karen (Kevin) Glass, Scott (Sandra) Eithun, Joel Perrin, Eric (Jamie) Eithun, and Carl (Shannon) Perrin; his step-children Don (Rita) Kennedy, Terri Maehern, Sean Kennedy, and Scott (Barbara) Carey; 27 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; loved ones and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl “Benny” and Cora Eithun; brother and sisters, Norris, Bernice, Vivian, Ollie, Fern and Curt; son Donn; and stepson Ryan.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, Madison, with Pastor Bill Mattox and Pastor Greg Watling officiating.
