Madison, WI – Darelle Lee White, age 78, passed away on Saturday, July 20. The daughter of Michael and Eve White, she went to high school in Connecticut where she was part of the History Club. The quote in her high school yearbook was “Good nature is the way to all our hearts,” which is certainly how she lived her life. She spent many years working for the State of Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice. Most recently she was an active and enthusiastic member of the Madison Stamp Club and enjoyed playing mahjong with friends. But most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Elizabeth.
Survivors include her children Robert (Meg) Hopton; Donna Wolfe; Cherie (Michael) Albert. Beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Hopton. Loving niece Stacy Lewis. Her 4-legged fur babies, Theo and Snow.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard and sister Sandra.
