Madison-Kathleen “Kathy” Reichardt-Jochmann, age 60, passed away unexpectedly the morning of May 4, 2019. She was born September 26, 1958. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin to Lorraine (Anderson) Hanson and Norman Reichardt.
Kathy was raised in Madison and attended St. Dennis School and graduated from Lafollette High School. She worked for the state of Wisconsin for 23 years.
In 2008 Kathy married her love, Harold Jochmann. Kathy and Harold were an active couple going on many adventures together. Harold preceded Kathy in death.
After Harold’s death Kathy had an empty space in her heart she needed filled so she became Gigi’s mom. As far as anyone could tell, Gigi was the luckiest dog around. Kathy loved her with all of her heart.
Not only was Kathy a dog mom, she was a dedicated daughter, sister and Aunt. She treasured her nieces, nephews and their children and embraced every moment with them.
Kathy loved to help people; it suited her servant heart. If ever you needed something Kathy was there in an instant. When not directly helping others, she was behind the scenes crafting or baking something. Her hands were rarely still.
Kathy was a glamping enthusiast at Willow Mill Campground, as well as a member of both the Woman of the Moose and ESA Sisters.
Kathy will be greatly missed by many, especially her family. Siblings: Donna Cerqua, Anita (Luis) Orizaba and Dennis (Pam) Reichardt. Step-Mother: Caroline Reichardt. Step-Father: Don Hanson.
