Richard "Dick" Kleinheinz

January 9, 1932 ~ February 28, 2018 (age 86)

Madison/Poynette-Richard Frank “Dick” Kleinheinz, died from complications of Parkinson’s disease on February 28, 2018. He was born on January 9, 1932 in Madison Wisconsin, the son of Frank and Bertha Kleinheinz. He graduated from East High School and was employed by Ray-O-Vac before he served his country in the Army from 1951 -1953 during the Korean Conflict. Dick married June Harris on June 25, 1955. They would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year. He worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company for 37 years before his retirement in 1993.

Dick is survived by his wife, June; his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Ronald Sharpee of Deforest and his son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Judy Kleinheinz of Wellington, Ohio. Dick is also survived by his two beloved grandchildren, Christopher (Beth) Kleinheinz and Amanda Kleinheinz. He is further survived by an unborn great-grandson and his two sisters, Janet Whelan and Mary Jane Klebesadel.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 5, 2018 at SPRING PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH, N509 Hwy C, DeForest, Wisconsin. There will be a visitation at the church starting at 9:00am until the time of the service. Chaplain Wayne Shannon will officiate. Military honors will accompany the burial at the Spring Prairie Cemetery.
