Her house was always busy with friends coming and going, she welcomed everyone. She always had a smile and was so easy to talk with. In the 40+ years I've known her I never saw her angry or heard her raise her voice. Alice was truly one of a kind.

Aunt Alice was never anything but sweet and generous to her nieces and nephews. I still have the baby booties she crocheted for my daughter Dora many years ago. We always loved going to her and Uncle Rollie's house! May she rest in peace.

Rolland and Alice were the best neighbors. Upon moving into our house, Alice welcomed us with a pan of her famous and delicious cinnamon rolls!! Later, she and her husband prepared the most delicious steak dinner with mashed potatoes for my husband and me. We will never forget their hospitality. Sanford and Yulanda Jones
