Beverly Harbort

Madison – Beverly Jean Harbort, age 86, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena, WI. She was born on November 18, 1937, in Maple Valley, Oconto County, WI, the daughter of Wesley and Bernice (Niehus) Anderson. Beverly graduated from Lodi High School in 1955. She married Chris “Guy” Harbort on October 23, 1959, at Lakeview Lutheran Church in Madison, WI. Bev grew up on a farm and was accustomed to working hard; She continued this her entire life by helping her husband with their farm and rentals. She was also a homemaker and spent time raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, going to the casino, and spending time with her family. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Chris; her son, Chris (Dennis); daughter, Cheryl (Todd); grandsons, Rees and Max; sister, Bonnie Pusley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Gary (Marie) Anderson, Don (Joan) Anderson, and David (Judy) Anderson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 6, 2024, at LAKEVIEW LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4001 Mandrake Road, Madison with Pastor Darren Wiebe presiding. A visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service. A burial will follow the service at Lakeview Lutheran Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Fresenius Kidney Care in Sun Prairie, St. Mary’s Hospital, Columbia Health Care Center, and St. Croix Hospice for all their wonderful care and support they provided to Beverly.
