I know Lucy from the Rio School. Chuck and Lucy also attended church in Rio. What a great team they were. 61 years together says it all. I am sure he will be missed more than words can say. Prayers are with you! Bonnie Pribbenow

Lucy, we have fond memories of Chuck when he worked as a butcher with our dad, Dale. For some reason, us kids called him "Uncle Bulgie" and remember that to this day, although I am not sure why! Condolences to you in your loss. Katie Strmiska Parlier

Lucille, your and your family have my prayers and thinking of you. I saw part of his obit. in the Portage Daily Register. I did not know Chuck, but, see he was in the Navy. Too, bad, they didn't have a flag by his obit. Is the Legion going to give Chuck military honors. I hope so. Love cousin Fern Wing Bessac

I only met my dad 3 years ago but it was the best 3 years. He was a great man and I miss him so much! Till me meet again daddy. I love you.

He was an amazing man, we did so much together, he taught me so many things, we would spend the day together and meet aunt Lucy for lunch, he had a heart of gold, and he meant the world to his great nephew Jase, there will never be anyone as amazing as uncle chuck! Will always be in my heart ❤️

I have alot of good memories from sledding to head rubs I will miss our talks and stories of there traveling I love uncle Chuck so much and will miss him greatly
