Obituary For Diane Marie Baryenbruch

WINDSOR - Diane Marie (Davenport) Baryenbruch, age 61, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at home with her husband Kelly by her side. Diane was born to Marian and Stanley Davenport on December 3, 1960, in Madison, WI.

Diane graduated from Madison East High School in 1979 and married the love of her life and best friend, Kelly Baryenbruch, on October 14, 1989. Diane worked in childcare and the bridal industry until beginning a 34-year tenure as an Administrative Assistant at Mid-West Family Broadcasting, where her co-workers became her second family.

Diane was an avid reader, and enjoyed vacationing in Mexico, playing euchre, and decorating for and celebrating the holidays, especially Halloween, her favorite holiday. Diane was also a wonderful hostess and along with her husband Kelly, hosted many annual get togethers for the 4th of July, Halloween, Easter, and the legendary JJO golf outing after party. Diane's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She had a gift with children and had a special place in her heart for each of her nieces and nephews. More than anything she loved spending time with her husband Kelly. She cherished their date nights at home, often consisting of cribbage, talking into the wee hours of the night, and lots of teasing and laughs. Diane and Kelly were rarely apart and shared a love like no other.

Diane had a heart of gold, was extremely generous, and made everyone feel like they were her favorite person in the whole world. She gave out compliments freely, making everyone feel so very special. Diane was full of life with an amazing smile that could light up a room. She had an incredibly warm, loving, and fun personality.

Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Kelly; brother, John (Karie) Davenport; sisters, Karen (Bob) Harms, and Sandra (Tom) Mork; mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Art Baryenbruch; brother-in-law, Jeff (Sheila) Baryenbruch, and sister-in-law Marybeth (Bob) Nachreiner; her beloved nieces and nephews that meant the world to her, Kristi, Michael, Kelly, Daniel, Lindsay, Jordan, Sierra, Jackson, Joshua, Jacob, Luke, Noah, Ryan, Adam, Andrew, and Rebecca; many great nieces and nephews, and her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents.

The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice for their care, especially her hospice nurse Kendra who was wonderful with Diane. Kendra’s kindness and compassion were of great comfort to Diane and the entire family.

Diane's brother and sisters would also like to express appreciation and gratitude to her husband Kelly for the exceptional care and unwavering love and devotion he gave Diane as she battled health issues over the last number of years.

A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. A time for prayers will be held at 1:30 PM. To Kelly and the entire family I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how much Diane meant to all of you and what a bright light she was to everyone she met. There are so many wonderful things to say about Diane. She had the best heart in the entire world. Not a bad bone in her body. Always giving and loving. I loved her so much. She was truly one of my very best friends. We laughed so much together. So many memories that will keep me smiling. I love you so much Diane. I feel like I've gained a guardian angel.

We meant in our paradise resort 15 years ago in Mexico and we made sure to meet up there whenever possible. We got to see all the goodness you had to offer. You lit up the room with your smile and made everyone feel like the world was their oyster. We will miss you but we know you're in good hand once again in paradise. Until we meet again... I was so lucky to have met Diane when I decided to try and shadow at a radio station. I was in school for administration and couldn't have landed a better role model. Diane was always so caring, thoughtful, funny, and giving. We lost touch after my shadowing unfortunately but Diane still stayed in my mind time and time again. I am sending so many healing thoughts to her friends, family, and all those who, like me, Diane also inspired.

Diane and I were childhood friends on Barby Lane. Although our lives took different paths later on as adults, I will always remember her as a sweet, special, caring friend - beautiful inside and out! And I thought of her often as the years went on. I know Diane will be missed by so many lives she touched, but never forgotten! Sending love, sympathy and prayers to Kelly and the entire family. - Cindy Braun Hasz

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

James S. | July 2020

The professional manner of the staff made a difficult time a little easier.

Lynda R. | July 2020

Services provided for both parents were perfect, on time, and no issues. Brenda is awesome and strong!

Michael M. | July 2020

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
