I'm so sorry for your family's loss, I'll be thinking of you Jerry, and sending a big MES hug.

Ellen and Jerry gifted my husband and I with a ceramic nativity set as a wedding gift in 1998. When our kids were little, we started a tradition during our Christmas decorating. We wrapped all the ceramic pieces in tissue paper and buried them in a big box with more tissue paper. Our 2 kids, Kylee and Josh took turns pulling out a ceramic figure and then unwrapping it for the nativity scene setup. We had to make it competitive, so whoever pulled out baby Jesus was declared the winner! We still cherish our nativity scene. Love to the Lapp family. If you need anything, please call us. Dear Lapp Family, We are so saddened by the news that Ellen had passed. Our most recent memories of her was when we were first married and the guys played Sunday bball league. It was always a great day when we could spend time with Ellen and Jerry. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. We understand your sorrow as she now is in the company of our beloved mothers who are enjoying heaven as well. Our prayers are with you.

Jerry and family- so sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. I still use the tasks she taught me to paint ceramics. When I think of Ellen it makes me smile to think of all the lives she touched in my family. Jerry you know that Bob and I love you dearly. We wish we could be with you. We are in Arizona. Dear Jerry, Billy, David, Laurie and Lyndsey, so sorry to hear about Ellen! My memory of her was her smile! It lit up the room and she almost always had on on her face! I am sure that the next few days weeks and months will be hard but always remember the promise of our Savior! "I am going to prepare a place for you you. My condolences to your family. I worked with Ellen at Yahara and she was a great role model to the children. I always loved it when christmas time rolled around and our Kindergarteners would paint the ceramic trees she would make. Heaven has a new angel to look after us all.
