I am Deborah Laws and I taught with Greg at Oconto Falls Middle School. Greg was a wonderful teacher. He was a real team player, and we all had some enjoyable times together in Management. He could keep us laughing with his corny jokes. I am saddened. The world has lost a great guy.

Our sympathies to Annie and the Boehmer family. Greg was a great friend and a strong and compassionate man. I never heard him complain about his cancer, and he always had a positive outlook on life. He was a great teammate playing softball and we always loved a good hand or two of sheepshead afterwards. My fondest memory was from a softball game where he was playing third base and I was the rover. We turned a 5-10-3 triple play that he predicted before the pitch was thrown. He will be missed by all. RIP Greg. Dale Krumrai

My deepest condolences to Mr Boehmer's family. I was OFHS class of 2000 and he was by far the most adored and loved teacher there. He started the class off with a joke and made learning enjoyable. In life as an adult he taught us that our day is what we make it, share a smile and a laugh and it brightens everyone's day. He is missed, but his Laffy Taffy jokes, smile, and life lessons will always love on.

I can't believe he's gone...so incredibly sad, that he suffered from brain cancer for the last 4 years of his life. I wish I'd known. He was truly the most enthusiastic math teacher I have ever had, and his kindness & encouragement were unsurpassed, unstoppable!! ❤ He will truly be missed, remembered, & he made a difference. I went on to take AP Calculus in high school, Statistics in graduate school, and I published a correlational psychology research study of mine in college--he would have loved my mathematical achievements! I remember struggling with Geometry and he was so patient with me and willing to help. He taught me and then my younger sister and brother. We were lucky to have someone who cared as much as he did. May God bless his family and loved ones with comfort and peace.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
