Harold Lange

DEFOREST - Harold R. Lange, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024, at home at the age of 86. He leaves a void in our hearts that words cannot fill, but his sense of humor and sweet compassion for others will continue to inspire us.

Harry was born on February 24,1938 to Dorothy and Roy Lange in Columbus, WI. After graduating from DeForest High School, he joined the Army and served in the 101st Airborne Division. He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann (Zimbric) in 1961. After a successful sales career in the insurance industry he enjoyed family, golf, long walks, and winters in Maui.

Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pat; children, Julie (Scott) Buss, Jodi (Troy) Gile, Scott (Lisa), and Jeff (Kellie); 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at LAKE WINDSOR COUNTRY CLUB, 4628 Golf Drive, Windsor.
