Obituary
Jane Ellen Spoehr, age 76, of Madison, passed away on November 20, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on July 24, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to parents, William and Josephine (Martorano) Magliano.
Jane Ellen was a 1965 graduate of New Dorp High School in Staten Island, NY. She moved to Wisconsin where she worked as a customer service representative at WPS for 25 years, until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, and hosting pool parties. She was a wonderful cook and a dedicated dog lover. She was loved by all and will always be remembered for her kind heart.
Jane Ellen is survived by her husband of 46 years, Floyd Spoehr; sister, Rosemary Strasburg; nephews and nieces, Christopher Strasburg, James (Jayme) Strasburg, Michael, Andrew, Nicholas, Lauren, and Madalyn Strasburg; along with multiple cousins, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tommy (Virginia); and brother-in-law, James Strasburg, Sr.
Memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society or St. Peter Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 5001 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, WI. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the Mass, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the church. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Westport, WI.

My dearest friend I have so many fond memories of you...all the fun and laughs we shared while working together at WPS. You will be truly missed by so many. My heart is so broken with your loss.
