Uncle Murph, my memories are mostly of the farm he had, playing with the cousins, a rooster that liked to chase, the barn with hey, and family fun gatherings. He eyes were always smiling.
My deepest sympathies & respect to the family.
    Amy Schofield (Richard Fishers daughter)

My condolences go out to all of Murphs family. I share your sadness and pain I have lost a fine friend. I always looked forward to seeing Murph, and our conversations were always a pleasure. When I tell and retell Murph stories (How he got hung with the name Murph; his aborted venture at the Seminary in Milwaukee; growing up near Vilas Park and his mom making the boys always use the bathrooms at the Park instead of the bathroom at home; a great Conway Twitty joke, etc), I always laugh harder than anyone, because I am recalling Murph telling me the stories! I am really going to miss him.

    Murph,
Best grandpa I've ever had. I regret not coming to a Packers or Badgers game with you. It really puts it in perspective, don't live with a bunch of I wish and I should have done that. Even though it's been a bit since I've seen you, I constantly tell stories about you to my friends and made you a part of our conversations and lives. The golf clubs and Badgers club covers you gave me will forever follow a Fisher to the grave. I will not forget the extreme speeding ticket I got with you in the IMURPH van or the first beer I drank you gave me at Matt's high school graduation. You lived a long life and I'm proud of you for that, I hope to do the same.
I'm going to miss you Grandpa Murph.
    Love Jake

Worked with Murph at Yellow from 81 till his retirement. Many memories, from the time goose hunting near Montello with my dog Murphy and Murph saying why are you telling me to sit. Yellow bus trips, ducks unlimited dinners, many customer entertainments, Murph always having a great time.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
