Larry O'Donnell
January 06, 1962 - October 18, 2024
Obituary
Larry Russell ‘Larebear’ O’Donnell, age 62, born on January 6, 1962, of Deforest, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. Larry was the father of Shane O’Donnell who preceded him in death; he is survived by his children John O’Donnell, Nicole O’Donnell, and Cody O’Donnell; mother of his children Diana Price; his mother, Diann Olsen & seven siblings. Larry’s favorite pastimes were mowing grass with his best friend, Bob Bliefernicht, riding motorcycles with his children and all the ‘unadopted adopted’ kids he adored. He enjoyed spending time hunting with the boys and always wrestling & gardening with his grandbabies, Vera (4), Waylon (2) and Cashton (1).
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home 6924 Lake Road, Deforest. We’ll be hosting a celebration of life at Larry’s house at 1 pm after the wake; food, gathering and some of Dad’s favorite kinds of therapy!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home or to the family to help cover the cost of funeral services. Larry was the best father, friend and comrade anybody could ask for. He was absolutely loved.

Still so hard to comprehend. I look around my property and I see so many things that Larry helped me with. Throughout the day I am reminded of how many times we were text each other about things. I will miss our conversations on the front porch. I am grateful that you adopted me into the O'Donnell clan. Love & hugs, Melodie

Diana and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. We are shocked. We just talked to him at the Jackson Reunion. It was so nice to see him there. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Jan and Ed Kane

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Larry worked with our son at Trachte! He befriended Andrew and talked to him about getting his education. He told him he was never to old to go back to school! Because of Larry, he went back to school and is now in his second year of his apprenticeship in Steamfitting. He loves it, and Larry's influence helped him figure out what he wanted to do with his life! We can never thank Larry enough for giving him the guidance he needed at the time! Sending a big thank you to Larry up above! Colleen and Jerry Fogo parents of Andrew

Larry, words cannot describe how much you will be missed by so many. You helped raise me and although we haven't seen each other in several years I know if I were to travel back home I could stop by and pickup where we left off. The next time I come home I promise John and I will stop by for a drink and to reminisce! Give Shane a big hug from all of us too. Love ya pops!
