Obituary
Linda Perry, of Wausau, WI passed from this life on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 to be with the Lord. Linda was born in Madison, Wisconsin on September 9, 1948 to Roger and Elizabeth Perry.
She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father and many Aunts and Uncles in England and in the United States. Linda grew up in Madison, WI and graduated from West High School. She grew up loving dance, music, modeling, and swimming at picnic point with friends.
Her family and friends will always remember her big heart, sense of humor, and her love for the Lord. She had a beautiful presence when she walked into a room and her warm smile and contagious laugh will truly be missed.
Linda believed in Jesus as her savior and Lord and was very active in children's ministry at church and in child Evangelism fellowship ministry. She also learned sign language to help translate during services. Linda would just beam when she told bible stories to children. She wanted everyone to believe in Jesus for their salvation.
She is remembered by her sisters, Joyce (Andrew) Gonzales of Colorado Springs, CO Janet (Russ) Perry Judd of Madison, WI, her close friends Keith Beck and Gail Miller, her nieces and nephews, and close family friends that love her very much.
"God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16

I am so thankful to have known Linda! She didn't just smile, she beamed with the Joy of the Lord! She talked enthusiastically about Jesus, her Savior! I enjoyed learning sign language from her and singing hymns with her at her apartment. Our talks quickly turned from casual conversation to God. We read His Word and prayed together! She so anticipated the day when she would see her Savior face to face!! Her greatest joy would be for all her family to join her in heaven. Jesus said to Him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Won't you accept the free gift of salvation in Christ as Linda, a sinner saved by His grace, did?

Linda always had a smile on her face and she definitely loved talking about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was cheerful and sweet and cared about others. I can still see her rocking back and forth as she stood to talk to me to ease the pain in her back. May her family be comforted knowing that she is no longer in pain but is in heaven praising her Lord where there is no pain or tears. How wonderful that she is in glory dancing and singing, praising Jesus. My condolences to her close friends and family. Teresa Ruhl
