Lois Stanford

Madison- Lois M. Stanford, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. She was born on June 3, 1939, to Lee and Luella (Luher) Dailey in British Hollow but was raised by Robert Frank and Martha (Gillilan) Luher. Lois married Floyd Stanford on June 17, 1961, at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. She really loved her life with Floyd. On March 29, 1967, their daughter Valerie Marie Stanford was born in Madison. Lois was baptized on Sunday, July 13, 2003, at Faith Baptist Church.

Lois worked at Research Product for over 45 years and really enjoyed it. She loved Garth Brooks, Aaron Rogers, the Packers, but especially like watching baseball. Lois also belonged to S S Morris Community AME Church in Madison.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Valerie; godson, Kenneth Goldsby and his five children; lifelong friend Janice Russell and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lois will be very missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; uncle, John Luher; grandparents, and many other family members.

A Celebration of Lois Life will be held at a later date.
