Rita Kimberley Phillips went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2022, at the age of 81. She passed away peacefully in her sleep in Monona, WI. She was born on Feb 28, 1941 in Evansville, WI and spent the majority of her life in Enterprise, AL as well as many years in Florida before moving back to her home state of WI. Rita was preceded in death by her son Keith Phillips, father and mother Jess and Genevieve Kimberley, brothers Ray and Robert Kimberley, and sisters Salome (Harry) Chapin and Sylvia Kimberley. She is survived by her son Robert (Jeneen) Phillips and Dennis Phillips, and her grandchildren Preston (Katie), Connor, Garrett (Delaney), Lacey and Renee Phillips, along with her great grandchildren Addi, Letty and Finn, and her brothers and sisters, Barbara (Dale) O’Brien, Rose Kimberley, Richard (Donna) Kimberley, Teresa Kimberley and Steve Kimberley, as well as several nieces and nephews. A devout Christian and ordained minister of the gospel, Rita started Jubilee Ministries with several hundred followers. She also hosted a Christian radio blog for a number of years with nearly 50,000 showing interest online. She frequently ministered prophetically in the House of the Prophets at Christian International Vision Church, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and was an inegral part of that ministry. Her Christian ministry took her to Israel several times where she ministered to various groups. (Her other travels included Europe and Hawaii). Rita enjoyed painting, quilting and needlework, gifting her friends and family through the years with her talented work. As an outstanding seamstress, she tailored much of her own clothing. Rita's pride and joy were her grandsons and recent great grandchild (Finn), the latter which she regretfully never got to see and hold. A Celebration of Life will be held at Heritage Senior Living in Monona, WI at 111 Owen Road on Aug 7, 2022 from 1:30 - 4:00 pm. RSVP to Barby O'Brien: itsbarby@gmail.com.
