From what I knew of Gretch, from our bridge games, she was a wonderful, interesting woman. Once she decided not to venture to the bridge table, we had many wonderful phone discussions including the books we'd read. When I worked with AARP preparing income tax returns, she came in with Rosalie's info. That confused me, because I only knew her as Gretch. Never did find out where the nickname came from. She'll always be a fond memory. Karen Loichinger

Dear Katie and Susan, I would like to extend our family's condolences on the passing of your mom. She was always a pleasure to talk with as she had so much knowledge of local history! I truly enjoyed exchanging stories with her since our family's roots go deep in Woodruff's history. I have no doubt that my mom was waiting for her 'Gretchen' at the bridge table of heaven! Partners again! Our sincerest sympathy, Kathy Wilke and family PS. Keegan and I were just downtown this past weekend and he asked about your mom. He enjoyed her company as well... ; )
