Scotty helped me when I could not help myself. He gave me shelter and taught me how to find food. All he asked from me was to help others the way he helped me. I loved him.

"I am responsible. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of AA always to be there. And for that: I am responsible." And, Scotty's hand was ALWAYS there! God Speed Scotty. Deepest condolences to his children, grandchildren and his wife... also to all of those whose lives Scotty touched, God Speed our good and faithful friend.

I went to Rio High School with Scotty. He was indeed a big spirit. Proud isn't a strong enough word to use for what he overcame. I didn't know him after High School but from the sounds of it he helped many, many people find their way. His family can be very proud of him and his accomplishments. Rest in peace, Scotty.

I remember in my early recovery, Scottie took me on a motorcycle ride with others from the B. O. B. (Buddies off booze camp out). We went to a car show with a group and he bought me a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. Which was so yummy, I was trying to figure out if I bought a whole pie how we could get it home on his motorcycle. He said Jennifer that's NOT happening. He will be forever in my memories. Rest in peace Scottie.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

The professional manner of the staff made a difficult time a little easier.

Lynda R. | July 2020

Michael M. | July 2020

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
