DeForest/Milwaukee - Jack Allen Richardson was born on January 19, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Earl Richardson and Myerl (Gage) Richardson (step father, John Sawyer). He was stationed in the Port of Whittier, Alaska, with the US Army during the Korean War. On October 24, 1953, he was united in marriage with Marilyn P. Gartzke in Milwaukee. Jack worked with R.W. Lazyinski and Tomaro Contactors and retired from Roadway after working 20 years for them. He was a member of the Lord of Love Lutheran Church. He loved the Lord and his family. He was devoted to Marilyn and remained a strong part of his adult children’s lives. Jack was loving, peaceful, gentle, kind-hearted, self-controlled, full of goodness and faithful to the end.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; Son, Mike Richardson of Mukwanago, WI., (wife Cheryl). Grandson, Chad (wife Sandy) great grandson, Landon. Granddaughter, Jodi (husband Josh) great grandson, Beau.
Daughter, Cindy Crary of Wyocena, WI., (husband Paul). Grandson, Jeremy Crary (wife Kirshton) great grandsons Alex and Mason, great granddaughters Ava and Sammy. Grandson, Nick Crary (wife Megan) great grandson, Jakson and great granddaughter, Ella. Grandson, Craig Crary (wife Casey) great granddaughters, Kayleigh and Miranda, great grandson, Logan. Granddaughter, Shannon Garrett (husband Matthew) great grandsons, Braylon and Ivan.
Son, Steven Richardson of DeForest, WI., (wife Cindy). Granddaughter Samantha Binnie (husband Chase) great granddaughters Leeland and Henrietta. Granddaughter, Alexandria Quick (husband Jeremy) great granddaughter Josie and great grandson Paxton. Granddaughter, Heidi Kurzinski (husband Eric) and great grandson Finley and great granddaughter Harlow. Grandson, Calvin Richardson (wife Kara) great grandson, Griffin.
Daughter, Cheryl Armstrong of Wausau, WI., (husband Rich). Grandson, Caleb and Granddaughters Brittany (John) Higgins and Hannah.
He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Pat and Joann, and brother, Dan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 from 10:00AM-12:00PM, at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 105 Paradise Circle, DeForest, WI. The Funeral Service will take place at 12:00PM with Pastor Joel Jenswold and Pastor Mike Willitz presiding. Immediately following services we will process to the burial at Norway Grove Cemetery, 820 River Road, DeForest, then return for lunch at the Lord of Love. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lord of Love Lutheran.
