Verona - Mary Lynne Forseth, 68, passed away on July 5, 2021, at her residence. She was born on October 28, 1952, in Dodgeville, WI to parents Donald and Beverly (Mathison) Forseth.

Mary is survived by her husband, Michael; siblings, Dean Edward (Vicki) Forseth, Ellen Ann Durni, Timothy Marc (Julie) Forseth; 8 nieces and nephews, Nicole (Durni) Bernico, Gillian Kohloff, Joshua Forseth, Lukas Forseth, Lindsey Forseth, Jessica Forseth, Allison Forseth, and Courtney Forseth; grand nephews, Keller Bennet and Ascher Kohloff; special aunts, Maxine Hamm and Mary Byrne, Uncle Ralph Forseth, and many cousins; Michaels brothers and sisters, and her much loved furrykids, Barney, Cosmo, Pearl, Petey, Poppy, Jack, and Lola.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, which included her beloved gram Agnes Mathesion, brother-in-law, Faun Durni, in addition Michael’s mother and stepfather, sister-in-law Eloise, and brother-in-law, William.

In Mary Lynne’s words, in addition to my human family members, I have loved my dogs – all of them, over the years, have been my little princes and princesses. I feel fortunate to have been able to provide wonderful, comfortable homes for my dogs, free from pain and suffering (or even discipline!). The members of my furry family have brought me much joy, laughter, and companionship.

Although I did not begin traveling until age 50, I feel fortunate to have had the health and means to pursue my interests, hiking in the mountains, scuba diving in the ocean, bicycling long distances, and skiing big hills.

I have most enjoyed the wonderful people of Asia – the Sherpa in Nepal, the loving and forgiving Vietnamese, the quirky and interesting Buddhists in Bhutan, and the cheerful and energetic Thais. My favorite city on the planet is Katmandu, Nepal and I am most proud of a bit of a hike in the Himalaya that ended at Mt. Everest Base Camp.
