MADISON, WI/CHICAGO, IL – Ralph Trentadue, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Ralph was born on July 22, 1937 in Chicago, IL to John and Angeline (Cotrano) Trentadue. Ralph enlisted into the Army in 1955 where he earned the Parachutist Badge at the Army Airborne School. After the army, he earned his radio engineering license and became a DJ in Las Vegas, NV. There he met and married Phyllis Burnell McMaster on November 29, 1967. He had a robust career in radio and as an executive with CBN TV. Ralph discovered a love of cooking and baking later in life and was always happy to show his love through food.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis; daughter, Angela (Ann Freiwald); stepchildren, Kathy Martens, Phillip (Susan) McMaster, Rebecca McMaster, and David (Christa) McMaster; and sister, Joan (Luke) Pavone. He is further survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his stepchildren, Ginger Martin and James McMaster; and sister, Lori (Louis) Baldassano.
A committal service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 1PM at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison.
