RIP my friend

I was sorry to read about the passing of Leroy. I knew him as a 12 year old math and science student at Logan Junior High in the early 1960’s. He was a joy to have as a student, prepared and interested in learning. He was among many wonderful young people at Logan. My sincere sympathy to his friends and family.

Lots of great memories growing up next door to Leroy on the Northside. Such a smart, sharp guy who was a lot of fun. A real peach of a guy. Rest in peace Leroy.

With great gratitude for LeRoy and everything he did for our staff. Even though we did not work together directly, our professional paths crossed often. He often talked about his family and his staff. He will be greatly missed.
