Our lives are richer for having known Sr. Ignatius. Her gentle manner, kind spirit, and soothing voice. Her smile, her laugh, and her "oh, yes" response that reinforced the way she assured that she was giving you her full attention and making you feel special. All such wonderful characteristics of an angel on earth. And now in heaven.

Sister Ignatius was a wonderful teacher at SMG. She was always so kind and so patient, regardless of our grade. I will forever have the fondest memories of being in her art & Spanish classes. May she rest in peace and know how loved she was by the students of SMG.

It was a pleasure to work with Sister Ignatius at Saint Maria Goretti School. She was always sweet and kind to students and staff. Several times we got toether with her and other SMG staff at the Searls’ house to make tamales! We still have the recipe that Jim transcribed based on her directions! What a treasure for our family. May she rest in peace. Annette and Brian Porter

We loved all of “The Sisters (and Ms. Tierny!) so very much growing up and I remember vividly a time that she helped me cut out a piece of colored paper for an art project we were working on; it was such a gentle and tender touch. We always felt very loved from her. Always there to answer questions we had about Jesus, too. We are so grateful to have the Sisters in our lives at SMG. We love you dearly, Sr. Ignatius. Love, the Mullee Boys
