Shirley Rauch

Shirley Rae Rauch, age 89, passed away on April 13, 2025, at Hyland Crossings assisted living in Sun Prairie, WI. She was born on May 7, 1935, to parents Arthur and Elizabeth (Lacy) Orvold.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Patricia (Terry) Zimmerman; grandchildren Tracy (Robert) Luling and Scott (Katie) Zimmerman; great grandchildren Corbin Luling, Brooklynn Luling and Tatum Luling; sister Barbara Wermuth; sisters-in-law Karen (David) Armour, Kathleen Power, and Phyllis Rauch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Rauch; and sister Fran Orvold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Neuroendocrine Cancer Foundation (www.ncf.net).

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hyland Crossing Memory Unit, and to the head nurse Patti Purtell for their care of Shirley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 401 S Owen Drive, Madison. A visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be held at St. Martin’s Cemetery in Martinsville.
