Robert L. Berry

I have so many stories of attending class with Herr Berry and am so fond of how he was teacher you could lightly tease and get away with it. To this day I tell everyone the secret German phrase that is the answer to everything - Wer einen Radi guten schneiden kann, der kann auch guten tanzen.

I graduated with Erik Berry & remember both Herr Berry & Frau Berry fondly. Stories from the German classroom were infamous although I never took German the entire Barry family was very Endearing.

Herr Berry was my favorite teacher at Verona High School. Even this 50 years later I can remember his joy when he taught us what were probably German drinking songs and Silent Night in German. My very sincere condolences to his family.

My dad Mr. Krause often tells me the story of when he found a paper airplane in his school mailbox with "Your son made this in my class" written on it by Herr Berry. The Berrys were such a positive impact to our lives!

I was one of Herr Berry's students at Verona High School. He was a great teacher, always in a good mood and made learning fun. He was one of my favorite teachers and I'll always remember his kindness.
