Robert L. Berry

Herr Berry was my favorite teacher at Verona High School. Even this 50 years later I can remember his joy when he taught us what were probably German drinking songs and Silent Night in German. My very sincere condolences to his family.

My dad Mr. Krause often tells me the story of when he found a paper airplane in his school mailbox with "Your son made this in my class" written on it by Herr Berry. The Berrys were such a positive impact to our lives!

I was one of Herr Berry's students at Verona High School. He was a great teacher, always in a good mood and made learning fun. He was one of my favorite teachers and I'll always remember his kindness.

Enjoyed his German class and was a nice person.

Knowing, and being taught by, Herr Berry will always be a highlight of my life. I can picture so vividly that smile as he walked between our desks. He exuded joy and I’m better for having known him.
