Rosalie "Rose" Studzinski
June 30, 1958 - April 19, 2025
Obituary
Rosalie Anne Studzinski (Zywicki), 66, of DeForest, WI, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in Madison, WI.
Rose was born in Stevens Point, WI to Henry and Antoinette (Trzebiatowski) Zywicki on June 30, 1958. In her early years, she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, followed by graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 1976, and then continued her education at cosmetology school. Using her degree in cosmetology, she worked as a beautician and eventually owned her own salon called The New You in Plover, WI. On June 4, 1977, she married Marvin Studzinski in the town of Polonia, WI at Sacred Heart Church. Though this relationship was not permanent (ending in 1998), they lived together in the Stevens Point area and proceeded to have 5 children: Kara, Victoria, Alexandra, Michael, and Crystal. In the summer of 1995, the family moved to DeForest, WI. After moving, Rose worked many different careers including customer service at various retail stores, in-home childcare, manufacturing at Demco, Inc., and finally finding a “work home” as an Installation Technician for the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Transportation. After many years of “shooting the sh*t” with many state patrol officers and installing their lights, sirens, and other equipment in their vehicles, Rose retired in January 2021. Through her whole life and into retirement, Rose enjoyed many cups of coffee while she was reading, gardening, decorating for the holidays, setting a jigsaw puzzle, or risking her nickels, dimes, and quarters in a competitive game of dice or cards. She also loved cooking and baking, especially for family get-togethers of all sizes. Most of all, Rose loved her family and the love, laughter, and life they each shared with her.
Rose joined her parents, Henry and Antoinette Zywicki, and her sister-in-law Corrine Zywicki who were all waiting in heaven.
Rose is survived by her children: Kara (Steve Jr.) Wiggins, Victoria Studzinski, Alexandra (Ryan) Broge, Michael (Christine) Studzinski, and Crystal (Hunter) Studzinski, 9 grandchildren: Sabrina (Michael) Jenkner, Hannah, Cory Wiggins, Travis, Evangelina, Samson, Finnley, Zattoria, and Zaviar, her siblings: Wallace (Kathy) Zywicki, Dennis Zywicki, Henrietta (Joe) Somers and Yvonne Zywicki, along with many more members of her extended family and friends.
Lastly, the family would like to thank the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff working in the ICU at UW Hospital – Madison. Your support and care of our mother during her last days was comforting and insurmountable.
Mom, while you may be physically lost to us, we will carry you and your love in our hearts and minds forever. Until we meet again. – Love, Your Kiddos.
