Ruth Schwartzlow

I met Ruth in the Mid 1980s when her daughter, Laurie was my girlfriend for many years. Ruth not only accepted me; she embraced me and treated me like family. I recall enjoying sitting with her at her kitchen table and getting to to crack up laughing. I was so impressed with her as a mother. Her lovely daughters, Laurie Lisa & Lynn are a testament to her being a wonderful mother. Years later when I moved to California and the internet made it easier for us to stay in contact, Ruth always followed my career and we would chat frequently. She always said she was proud of me and that she missed me. I had no family in California. Ruth helped me feel grounded and to this day it always warms my heart as I, as we all should, remember with Love, kindness and everlasting reverence.

I am from DeForest and I bowled with Ruth for years at Rude's Lanes. Ruth was our league secretary for many years. Deepest sympathy to her family . From Judy Sigurslid.
