Jerald (Jerry) J. Bordson, age 80, of Marshall, WI, passed away at home on Wednesday April 30, 2025. Born on August 15, 1944 in Madison, WI. Jerry was a beloved son of Martin C Bordson and Aurelia (Nonn) Bordson. He was a graduate of Madison East High School, Class of 1964.
Jerry will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his deep love and enthusiasm for hunting and all things related. A true outdoorsman, he found joy in attending gun shows and dedicated countless hours to his favorite pastime of reloading. Known as “Jerry” to all that knew him. He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures that nature and hunting had to offer. As a younger man, he and his daughter enjoyed participating in Rendezvous with his Tepee, period clothing and black powder shoots.
He’s survived by his daughter Jenny (Roger McCray Jr) Bordson, Grandson Jacob Hendricks. Brothers Robert (Judy A) Bordson, Ronald (Judy M) Bordson, Martin J (Karen) Bordson. Sister: Jeanine (Randy) Arnett. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Lynn (Bordson) Shere, Brandon Arnett, Melissa Bordson and nephew Martin C Bordson. As well as a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Jerald was preceded in death by his parents: niece and nephew, Marcie and Michael Bordson.
A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at St Paul’s Liberty Lutheran Church (Education Center across from Church).
