I was so sorry to read of Doug's passing this morning. He was a gracious, kind, hard working person and always had a smile.

I am so sorry to learn of Doug's passing. I found it this morning while looking for another obituary and am sorry to have missed his service. I knew Doug for years and worked with him in the hospitality industry. He was a lovely, warm, gracious, kind and hard working person. RIP, Doug and thank you for always smiling!

Doug was a great friend and coworker at the Sheraton in the 1980’s. I didn’t see him again until recently at Mariner’s. We had so many memories to share and catching up with him was wonderful. He will be missed.

I loved talking to Doug at Mariners Inn when my husband and I would stop in for food and drinks. He always greeted us with joy. He would talk about his travels when he had time. I was so saddened to hear about his passing and wasn’t able to attend his visitation. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed. 🙏
