Melissa Fast

Melissa “Mimi” Ann Fast, age 53, passed away on May 27, 2025, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on November 2, 1971, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was the beloved daughter of Malcolm and Gail (Lemberger) Aldridge.

Melissa was a 1989 graduate from La Follette High School. She then went on to attend the Madison College Surgical Tech Program. Mimi had a passion for traveling, soaking up the sun and shopping. She was always a huge fan of classic horror movies, her favorites were the Halloween and Friday the 13th film series. She adored her son Dylan and was so proud of him and all his accomplishments.

Mimi is survived by her son Dylan (Ellie) Shelby; father, Malcolm “Mick” Aldridge III; sisters Jessica (James) Niemann and Lisa (Brad) Aldridge-Timmerman; nephews Aiden and Brody Timmerman; former spouse Richard “Rick” Fast; former spouse Joel Shelby; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by John “Jack” Harrington and her mother, Gail Aldridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The River Food Pantry in Melissa’s honor.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 2705 Regent St, Madison. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday in the chapel. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
