Gary and I lived in Fairmont Towers Dorm at Wichita State. We were quite close those years. We lost track of one another but I have such fond memories of his bubbly personality and warm smile.

Gary always had a smile on his face. He helped us on complex projects and used his Six Sigma skills to bring clarity into chaos. Gary loved our iCare members and believed in our mission. His light was always bright!

Gary helped those around him no matter how challenging a situation may be. He encouraged growth, compassion, and joy in all areas of life. I treasured the years we got to work together and the wonderful ways he impacted those around him. I know he deeply loved his friends and family. His memory will be cherished.

Gary was a treasured colleague of our iCare team where he worked for many years as a Quality nurse. The news of his passing has been shared among us and we are all saddened by his loss. We are sharing fun memories of fishbone diagrams and root cause analysis! No one could do it better and with more cheer than Gary. He always spoke so fondly of his family and nieces and nephews. We will miss you, Gary. Rest in peace. -Kris Peterka
