Danny Dietzman

Danny “Dan” Ray Dietzman, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 14, 1956, to Palmer and Genevieve (Paull) Dietzman in Dodgeville, WI.

He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1974, followed by his enlistment in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.

Dan (a.k.a. Peaches) had a career of working in maintenance as he was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed helping people, especially those who were less fortunate than himself. Growing up in Ridgeway, Dan worked alongside his brothers to help as needed at his father’s Dietzman’s Texaco station. In his youth, Dan enjoyed riding minibikes and snowmobiles around Ridgeway. As an adult, he was passionate about riding his Harley Davidson Sportster. Dan really loved the various dogs and cats he raised including his current cat, Katie.

Dan is survived by his siblings, Julie Dietzman, Kim (Glori Sabin) Dietzman, Renae (Rob) Stafslien; sister-in-law, Alice Dietzman; stepmother, Betty Dietzman: stepsiblings, Rick (Robin) Short, Vicky (Mark) Rostowfske, Mike Short and numerous relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeffery Dietzman; significant other, Jeannie Sertich and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N Sherman Ave. Madison, WI. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Military Honors will be held at the Funeral Home following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for funeral and monument expenses.
