Carol Birnhak

Carol Birnhak, 67, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully Monday morning, June 23rd, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Werner Schultze & Doris Walker Schultze, Carol excelled at ballet from an early age, dancing through her youth, ultimately becoming a company dancer for the prestigious New York City Ballet. However, Carol’s endless creativity & passion weren’t limited to the stage, truly shining through as a Wife, Mother, Sibling, and Friend, supporting and loving those close to her fully and unconditionally. A trusted confidant, a vibrant cheerleader, to have Carol in your corner meant having a port in the storm, no matter how bad the weather got. Carol was preceded in death by her husband & soulmate, Adam Birnhak, as well as her parents, Werner Schultze & Doris Walker Schultze. Carol is survived by her son, Andrew Birnhak of Madison, WI, daughter Caroline Birnhak of Appleton, WI, and brother Andrew Schultze of Chicago Illinois.
