Charlie worked with me at WI Dept of Workforce Development in the late 1990s. A kind soul. Didn't realize we were both UW-Oshkosh journalism grads

Beautifully written obituary. I was around Charlie a handful of times at my husband’s (cousin) family events, and it captured the essence of the Charlie I remember. Deepest condolences to the entire family and especially to the person(s) who wrote this obituary. Your love for Charlie was apparent.

I am proud to know Charlie. He was a great friend to have especially in ’69 & ’70. He really did lift all our spirits during the year we spent together in that far away land called Vietnam. And then again our recently short visits and quick email barbs. He will be truly missed.
