Todd Deschler Sr.

Todd Alan Deschler Sr., age 61, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born on November 21, 1963, to Milton and Lela (Layton) Deschler in Racine, Wisconsin.

Todd worked on automobiles most of his life, starting in his teen years. He worked at Goodyear for the majority of his career before ending it with Wisconsin Aviationas a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

Todd had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed building things with his hands and playing pool, but most of all Todd loved watching NASCAR. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and dreamed of someday going out west to hunt big game. Todd loved all his dogs through the years, and they loved him just as much.

Todd is survived by his children, Dylan and Todd “T.J.” Deschler; stepchildren, Christy and Blake (Angela) Torpy; siblings, Kristi (Terry) Peterson, Milton Deschler; his partner, Kay Allen, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Schoolhouse Tavern in Westfield, WI, who he considered to be his family for so many years.

A Gathering to Celebrate Todd’s Life will be held at a later date.
