Daniel Strohbusch

Daniel Allen Strohbusch, 60, of Madison entered this world with a boom on the 4th of July, 1965. Referred to as “our little firecracker” by his grandparents, Danny grew up on the East Side of Madison. Sadly, Danny passed away at home from natural causes in late August.

Danny graduated from Madison East, where he enjoyed being a member of the wrestling team. After high school, Danny enlisted and proudly served in the Army in Germany. He was known for his big smile, mischievous eyes, and ability to share hilarious stories. During his years working at Oscar Mayer, work friends would gather around Danny’s locker for lunch to laugh with him as he entertained them with jokes and stories. Danny made many friends during childhood and while working at Oscar Mayer and Schoeps Ice Cream. Danny was a hard worker. In his younger days, when he wasn’t working, Danny loved to polish his Harley and take it out for rides. He and his wife, Cindy, had many good years watching their two beautiful daughters grow up in their home on the North side. Danny is survived by his daughters, Haley (Milwaukee) and Hannah (Madison); grandchildren, Ariya and Ayce Bearden; mother, Donna Krause; wife, Cindy; brothers Scott (Bobbie) and Jack Krause (Missy); sisters, Jackie Strohbusch Vargas, and Andrea Krause Defoe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, David Strohbusch (Fort Atkinson).

Rest in peace, Danny. You were loved and will be missed.

There will be a celebration of Danny’s life on: Saturday, October 11, from 2-5 pm at the Meadow Grove Apartments, 4815 Cottage Grove Road Madison 53716.
