Rita Giovannoni

Jim, Teri, and the entire family, our continued and deepest condolences and prayers on the passing of Rita. She was such a lovely person to chat with and as a long time supporter to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, I was impressed with her love and care for our community members in need. May the perpetual light shine brightly upon Rita. Thank you God for the gift of Rita and a life well lived. I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Dane County’s glorious fighter for the rights and lives of older adults. We shared many projects over the years, and they were always better for her counsel. We just returned home yesterday or would have joined you in celebrating her life. May her memory be for a blessing.

Always Lovely Rita! We shared so many wonderful times together, she was always a joy! Lesson learned, do not out off what you can do today. So many times I meant to stop and say "Hi!" So Rita, I know you will laugh when I remind you of the day the turkey talked! Rest in Peace sweet lady.

I was a co-worker in the UW Respiratory Care dept. in the mid seventies and a friend outside of work. Rita was a lovely person inside and out. I’m sure that Madison was a better place with Rita in it.
