Obituary
Madison - Nora S. Hartman, cherished daughter of James Newkirk and Mary Eileen (O’Neil) Newkirk, passed away on Saturday, the 4th of October, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on a spring day, Saturday the 7th of April, 1951, Nora lived a life of love, and devotion to family. She graced this world with her presence for over seven decades, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Nora was an avid gardener and loved spending summer days in her flower garden. She enjoyed reading books, putting together a good puzzle and crafting, especially sewing.
In addition to her role as a devoted wife, Nora was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her presence brought light to the lives of her family, and her memory will serve as a guiding light in their hearts. Nora's legacy of love and warmth will continue to illuminate the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to walk beside her on life's journey.
Nora is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, James (Tena) Hartman and Carolyn (Chris) Molitor; grandchildren; Dominic, Grace and Mary; siblings, Andrew (Julie) Newkirk, Sherry Ann (Elson) Hauenstein, Shelia Vincent and Kathleen Schnoebelen; and many nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Kevin Newkirk and Thalia Sadewasser.
