Jeffrey Knupp

He was quite simply the reason I decided to make acting my life. And that was before I even met him. And I'm so grateful that I eventually did, and stayed close with him for years thereafter. Already missing that face; that voice. And just knowing he's there.

Sorry to see this. I played hockey with Jeff for aa number of years back in the 70s and 80s. We always needed goalies! Interestingly Jeff and I did BCT in the army at Ft. Dix in the same company, X-Ray Company of the First BCT Brigade. We were one 8 week cycle apart, but had the same DIs, a few of which we would never forget. RIP Jeff. Jim Fitzpatrick

I worked with Jeff for many years at the WisDOT and always enjoyed his whit, sense of humor and feeling of joy in life. I especially appreciated, and shared, his passion for Wisconsin sports. I attended several of his plays for which he either directed or acted in. His passing is a great loss.

Like so many folks in Madison, I was learn that Jeff was no longer with us. I was lucky enough to work with him on at least a couple of shows and to be exposed to his encyclopedic knowledge and unerring skill in knowing what audiences would appreciate. Truly a loss for our community.
