I enjoyed waiting on Peter and Jan at the Drafthouse. He was such a nice man!!! Jan, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you guys got to build your dream house and he got to enjoy it for a few years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Nancy Schlimgen Peich from the Drafthouse

As I added photos of your visit to us in Bruges, Belgium, I recall how wonderful it was, to get to know Peter, my old roommate s lovely husband. We made plans for next time, because, who would have thought there would be no next time? I m so happy we got to meet again in Wisconsin. I recall you enjoyed our little field trip to France and visiting around our city. Also remembering the losses of the second world war was something to share while you were here with Jan.We enjoyed friends, beer and wine tasting. We enjoyed good food and nice cafe s. You were curious about everything that was different. You felt at ease and it was great with you here. So happy we got to know you , Peter. Love from Belgium, especially to you, Jan and to everyone who misses Peter. Catherine and Frank

I've only known Peter for a couple of years, but that didn't stop him from becoming a very close friend almost immediately. He is, and always will be one of my closest friends because of the down-to-earthiness, which was part of his character. He was a genuine friend with a very infectious laugh that brought a brightness to every conversation. To say I do and will miss Peter as a good friend would not do him justice, so I'll just end this by saying that me and my heart will miss him greatly. Goodbye Peter... you are already missed.

So many wonderful memories of travel and experiences with Peter. These include Wisconsin State Fair, VentureOut in Mesa, bottling spirits at State Line and enjoying spirits at G5, visiting the Musical Instrument Museum in Scottsdale, the EAA in Oshkosh this summer and one of my favorites is at the Eiffel Tower in Paris at night. We love you Peter and will miss you more than you can know. Until we meet again.
