William R. Maselter

October 13, 1966 – November 1, 2025

William Robert “Bill” Maselter, age 59, of Sun Prairie WI, passed away on November 1st, 2025. He was born on October 13, 1966, in Milwaukee WI, the son of Patricia A. (Marchildon) Maselter and William G. Maselter.

Bill grew up in Sun Prairie where he was a graduate of Sun Prairie High School in the Class of 1984. He had great pride being a member of the Cardinals football team where he excelled. After graduation, Bill worked for Michaels Construction Company installing fiber optics and traveled throughout the country. While living and working in Kansas he met and married the love of his life, Dana Miller Maselter. Bill returned to Wisconsin after Dana’s untimely death and continued working in the landscaping field as well as transportation utilizing his CDL license.

While not a veteran, Bill understood and appreciated the sacrifices made by so many. He would often volunteer to deliver food and provide rides to local veterans.

Bill is survived by his loving mother Patricia Maselter. His sister Melissa Livingston and husband Christopher of DeForest. Brother Steve Maselter and wife Kate of Sun Prairie. Nephews and nieces and one grandniece.

His family would like to thank his good friend Sully for always loving and supporting Bill. They had some great times spent on the golf course vying for low score and spending time together.

Bill had numerous friends at the Sundown Saloon whom he had found great friendship and love with. His friends will be hosting a Celebration of Life and all are invited to join together to reminisce.

Bill was preceded in death by his father William G. Maselter and his wife Dana.
