Roger Hron

Madison - Roger Lee Hron passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of 77. He was born on July 30, 1948, in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Henry B. Hron and Lilah J. Watson.

A lifelong resident of Wisconsin, Roger graduated from Madison La Follette High School. He dedicated his professional life to the craft of upholstery, where his skill and attention to detail earned him great respect in his trade. Roger was the proud owner of Hron Upholstery for 40 years.

Roger was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of many local bass clubs and was also involved with the Madison Fishing Expo for 30 years. For many years, he also mentored and sponsored people in AA. Roger was a devoted family man. He had a great love for his family especially his grandchildren and his two great granddaughters. He found great joy in attending their sporting events and rooting them all on.

Roger is survived by his wife Sharon; children, Donald (Jessica) Hron, Patricia (Charles) Giese, Joseph (Becky) Spaeth and Alice (Ken) Williams; step children, Todd (Kristen) Sailor and Kurt Sailor; grandchildren, Matthew Hron, McKenzie (Evan) Strait, Anthony Williams, Katlyn Williams, Logan (Hannah) Hron, Emily Hron, Mason Spaeth and Marshall Spaeth; step granddaughter, Maria Sailor; great granddaughters, Lila Strait and Lillian Strait; sister, Sharon Wood; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Bernard Hron.
