Obituary
Madison - Dean R. Black passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at Monarch Living at the age of 78. He was born on November 25, 1946, in New London, Ohio, the son of Charles A. Miller and Lois A. Young. Dean was a devoted Christian, having just given his heart to the lord this past year.
Dean is survived by his siblings, Ron Miller and Judy Miller; cousins, Brenda Slaughter, Vicki Bailey, Tom Szabo, Art, Szabo, Phil Puckett and Sandra Garrett; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lois; and his sibling, Dennis McCreary.
Dean’s life was comforted by the compassionate care of the staff at Monarch Living, especially that of Ashley and Marteen. A special thank as well to his hospice nurse Claire. The family extends their gratitude to all those who provided comfort and support during his final days.
