I have probably known your folks since we moved into our house on Vancouver St in Irving Texas in the mid 60’s. Our Mom’s became fast friends in the 1960’s when we were all young kids and over the many years they kept in touch and visited each other as often as they could. Time never passed when those 2 got on the phone. When your family moved to Madison, Wisconsin my mom couldn’t believe it since she went to nurses training in Madison and grew up less than 30 miles from there and your family ended up living there. I don’t think she ever got over that! Our family often drove up to visit our Grandparents in Waterloo and Loretta attended several events my Grandparents had at Pine Knoll Supper Club in Lake Mills with family and friends. It was lovely getting to see your parents in the summer of 2023. It’s funny when my mom talked about Loretta she could go on and on about stories and visits and when Loretta talked about my mom, she did the same thing. They were truly best friends, and I am sure they are catching up with each other! Your mom was a very sweet caring lady, and she loved all of you more than words can say. Your mom was very special to me. I am deeply sorry for your loss for both your mom and dad. You are all in my prayers. Love, Roxanne Roderick Booth
