Juanita Medina

Juanita D. Medina, 63, of Madison, Wisconsin, passed away on November 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 5, 1962, in Madison to Donald D. Fenne Sr. and JoEllen D. Andruss, Juanita lived a life defined by generosity, faith, and devotion to her family.

On May 1, 1982, she married the love of her life, Toribio Medina-Loera, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and open doors. Juanita was the proud mother of Miguel Fenne Sr., Toribio Medina Jr., Jesus Medina (Myriah), Ricardo Medina, JoEllen Medina-Rodriguez (Mauri), and stepmother to Toribio Medina-Miranda (Laura). Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to Lazaro, Miguel Jr., Toribio III, Miguel, Markos, Jesus Jr., Priscilla, Angelo, JasaLynn, Ricardo, Bibiana, Cataleya, Victoria, Viviana, and a great-grandmother to Santiago.

She is survived by her siblings, Theresa Solis (Roberto), Shelly Brennan, Rocky Fenne, Dena Fenne, Chris Fenne, and Christian Delany, and preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Donald Fenne Jr. and David Fenne, and other loved ones who welcomed her home in heaven.

Juanita was known for her boundless generosity—always willing to give the shirt off her back and open her home to anyone in need, whether family, friends, or strangers. She was a woman of deep faith, a devout Christian who found strength in scripture and rarely missed church. Her Bible was never far from her hands, and her faith guided her through every chapter of life.

Her legacy is one of love, hospitality, and unwavering devotion to her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, a proud grandmother, and a faithful servant of God. Juanita’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to guide her family with love and faith.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Ryan Funeral Home, 6728 Mader Dr., Madison, WI. A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., with a time of sharing memories at 12:30 p.m. and service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
