Addelyn “Addie” Michelle Biron, age 13, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2025, at VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital in Tappahannock, Virginia. She was born on April 1, 2012, in Madison, Wisconsin to parents Patrick and Elinor (Hillyer) Biron.
Addie was a student at James C. Wright Middle School and was excited to graduate 8th grade this year. She had been eagerly awaiting her first parent free trip to Puerto Rico with her Spanish class. She was a big fan of her history class and participated in extracurriculars including Volleyball, Theater, and Careers after school clubs. Addie absolutely loved her friends and would often be found on the phone having group chats while playing Roblox. She had many dreams of traveling and especially wanted to do a road trip out west with her friends when they all turned 18. Addie was also a huge fan of musicals especially the Epic Musical which fed her love of Greek mythology, and Hamilton that fed her love of history. She also loved music in general and would rarely be found without music playing which was often a bonding point with her mom as they were regularly introducing each other to their newest favorite song. Outside of her desires, she also had a big heart. She was a very inclusive friend and had a strong eye for those who are marginalized, including wanting to create care packages for the homeless out of her Christmas budget.
Addie is survived by her parents Patrick and Ellie; her 3 brothers Amos, Levi, and Lucas; maternal grandmother Carolyn Hillyer and paternal grandmother Victoria Kirby; aunts Goldie Abels and her children Gavin and Liam; Rachel Hillyer; Michelle Weaver and her children Kherington and Morgan, Heather (Mark) Lovrien and their children Sam, Leah, and Isaiah; and many dear friends who were like family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Patrick G. Biron and maternal grandfather Michael Hillyer; Cousin Matthew; and other close family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wright Middle School 8th Grade Class for their upcoming field trip.
