I knew John for over 40 years working with him on business and buying many cars. John was a true gentleman and gave great advice. Madison is a better place because of people like John.

What an example on how to live an exemplary life. Just such a caring man, leader, visionary and ultimately…friend. He will leave an indelible mark on so many of us. As Mr. Z. Was a fan of the arts (in addition to his many other interests), I’m reminded of Shakespeare’s Hamlet as he laments his father’s death…”He was a man, take him for all in all, I shall not look upon his like again.” May God bless and keep you warm Mr. Z. You made such a difference to so many.

My dad, Ed Wagner, worked for Buick for over 50 years in Madison. We lived on Odana Rd. and when John and Pat moved to Madison, they moved to Odana Rd. right next to the golf course. I was a teen and babysat for Mike and Tom. Our family loved that family.
