RIP Mr. Zimbrick. I have many fond memories with your son, Mike during Sherman School, East High, UW Madison days, having family meals at your neighborhood home. What a wonderful history written! Thank you Tom, Mike for this important historical information. Your Mom and Dad are amazing! Heartfelt condolences to all your Zimbrick family clans, from the array of Hobbins family clans!

I vividly remember your family when you move to Madison from Indiana on the other end of Odana Road from us our dad Eddie Wagner had worked for a Buick caves Buick Lou ellers Buick all told 48 years and it was such a big deal when you moved my sister Jean babysat you and I remember all your mom’s gorgeous flower displays at the dealership. I think your grandma had a flower shop back in Indiana that your mom learned from.- such great people. Janet Wagner klock

We knew John and Pat from church and they always treated us very well. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it to his funeral today because of a health issue but he will surely be missed by so many people for his kindness and generosity. John and Maureen Calabrese.

Mr Zimbrick built his dealership around the philosophy he called "loving care service". Mr Zimbrick truly cared about his employees, customers and the community. One of my first customer encounters in 2004 was a couple that said the reason they keep coming back to Zimbrick is because in the early 80's they bought a Buick and it broke down on the way to Chicago. The customer found John's home phone number in the phone book and called late at night. John and Pat drove 2 vehicles to meet them - one for the couple to drive to continue their trip without interruption. I'll always remember that interaction and that was my first impression of John. What a wonderful man. Honored to be apart of the Zimbrick family. With much love and respect, Carlos Pelaez

Im sad to see such a great man pass. He will be missed by all. I worked for Zimbrick Body shop for 30 years and can say it was an amazing place to work. John and the family of Zimbricks have always made giving back to the community a priority. What a legend and a wonderful role model for anyone. To the entire Zimbrick family I am sorry for your loss.
