Obituary
Betty Lou Heibel (87) passed peacefully in the company of her husband of 68 years John Heibel and her eldest son Michael. Betty Lou was the youngest of seven children and was preceded in death by her sons Timothy and Patrick and her six brothers and sisters. As with other women raising families in the sixties and seventies she fought and succeeded to both work and be a loving, caring and devoted mother, grandmother to three, wife, friend, den mother and family nurse, tutor, top chef and cheerleader. Betty was her family's everything and showed by example if you work and love hard you can have everything. Although Betty called Madison home, she and John were well traveled and spent many a winter as winter Texans or Florida snow birds and had many adventures locally, throughout the US, Mexico and abroad. Betty also enjoyed making new friends, golfing, playing cards, cribbage, pegs and jokers and letting her husband and sons win … occasionally.
