Timothy “TJ” Brandt

April 22, 1981 – February 2, 2026

Timothy “TJ” Brandt, age 44, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026, at University of Wisconsin Hospital, following a cardiac event related to his courageous and long-fought battle with cancer.

TJ grew up in Wisconsin and attended Sauk Trail Elementary School in Middleton, followed by Verona Area Middle School and Verona Area High School. From an early age, he showed a natural aptitude for mathematics, logic, and problem-solving—gifts that would remain with him throughout his life.

Before his illness, TJ worked at O & A Manufacturing in Verona from 2005 until 2020 as a brake press programmer. He took great pride in his work and found deep satisfaction in programming complex equipment, a role well suited to his analytical mind and careful attention to detail.

TJ was an avid reader who enjoyed a wide range of fiction and never limited himself to a single favorite genre. Above all, he cherished time spent playing video games with family and friends. These moments brought him joy, laughter, and a strong sense of connection with those he loved.

TJ is lovingly remembered by his parents, Amondee Brandt (Steve Acker) and James Brown; his sister, Heather (Tony) Jacobson; his nephews, Antonio Jacobson and Dominic Jacobson; his niece, Brandee Jacobson; his grandmother, Patricia Brown; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Caroline Anglemyer, Dr. Ron G. Brandt, and Fritz Brown; his aunt, Nicole Brandt-Stoddard; his uncles, Jerry Brown and Scott Brown; and his dear middle school friend, Patrick Pfeffer.
